Grow Up is a programme of exhibitions, offering a cross-section of views on the movement of plants around the world. Cradle of biodiversity and environmental tensions, the twenty or so artists are based in South America, Central America and Taiwan.

Each focus highlights the relationship between plants and humans, exploring the local relationships of a territory but also international ones. This geographical scale cuts across political, social and environmental narratives and issues, as well as post-colonial issues. The projects cross master plants, shamanism, drugs but also the sensitive exploration of a territory.

This relation to plants is central, they are sacred and at the heart of local cultures and beliefs, Grow up wishes to cultivate and increase awareness of our relationship with living things. Fotohaus is invited to extend this programme with Nature et Société.

Grow Up è un programma di mostre che offre uno spaccato di vedute sul movimento delle piante nel mondo. Culla della biodiversità e delle tensioni ambientali, i circa venti artisti hanno sede in Sud America, Centro America e Taiwan.
Ogni focus mette in luce il rapporto tra piante e uomo, esplorando le relazioni locali di un territorio ma anche internazionali. Questa scala geografica attraversa le narrazioni e le questioni politiche, sociali e ambientali, così come le questioni postcoloniali. I progetti incrociano piante maestre, sciamanesimo, droghe ma anche l’esplorazione sensibile di un territorio.

Questa relazione con le piante è centrale, sono sacre e al centro delle culture e delle credenze locali, Grow up desidera coltivare e aumentare la consapevolezza del nostro rapporto con gli esseri viventi. Fotohaus è invitata ad estendere questo programma con Nature et Société.
